Jay Dacey is a nationally-known mortgage expert who has been featured in dozens of the top-rated financial publications and websites for his expert advice on all things mortgage, credit, and real estate! 

In addition to helping his clients obtain the best mortgage financing, Jay enjoys spending time with his wife Kristin, daughter Elle, and son Chase. 

Madeline McNamara has been working with Jay as the Operations Manager since 2016. 

Since 2020, she has been ranked in the top 1% of loan originators in the country with closing over $80M annually and helping approximately 300 familes per year. She has received numerous awards from our lending partners including "Fastest Closer" by United Wholesale Mortgage. 

With her extensive knowledge and patience, she is the “glue” of our team.

She loves working with each client to explain all the options and find the best solution for every situation.

Prior to working in mortgage, Madeline obtained a Psychology degree from the University of St. Thomas. She lives in Lindstrom with her husband and two children.

Lynsey Simmet joined the team as our Project and Hiring Manager after working in the finance industry for over 13 years. She has led a broad array of projects including finding and training new team members, spearheading our Homebot marketing, and serving as the lead Post Closer.

She earned her Bachelor’s in Financial Management and her MBA from the University of St. Thomas.

She inspires everyone in the office with her professionalism and her impressive Peloton regimen.

Her daughter and two sons keep her on her toes.

Rachel Scott graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in Professional Writing.

She loves working in the mortgage industry for its fast pace and the opportunity to get to know each client she works with.

As the Transaction Coordinator, her job is to dot the i’s and cross the t’s to make each file go as smoothly as possible.

At home she and her husband care for their baby son and one-year-old St Bernard-poodle.

Shannon Lukas came to the Jay Dacey team in 2023.  Her team attitude and her experience in client relations, data management, and education have made her an excellent fit for the team and the mortgage industry. Shannon runs the team’s office and supports in helping our clients get from underwriting all the way to loan closing.  Outside of work, Shannon and her husband enjoy hiking, especially the Superior Hiking Trail in northern MN.

Paul believes that homeownership helps families achieve stability and build long-term wealth. Coming from a background in corporate finance, he seeks to make sure you understand your mortgage within the context of your whole personal financial picture. 

He graduated from Bethel University in Business Finance and has over eight years of experience in the financial and mortgage industries.

Paul lives in Minneapolis with his wife, their daughter, and their Great Pyrenees, Magnus. He likes to spend his free time leathercrafting, making music and traveling.

Angela Warren NMLS 1455156 joined the Jay Dacey Mortgage Team in 2025 with 20 years of experience as mortgage processor and loan partner. She holds a degree in Sociology from the University of St. Thomas. Throughout her career, Angela has gained a deep understanding of the mortgage process and developed a practical, detail-oriented approach to her work. 

At the Jay Dacey team, Angela works to help buyers through the pre-qualification and preapproval process to get them into their dream home with speed and confidence.

Out of the office Angela teaches kickboxing at Farrells and spends her remaining free time with her 5 dogs.
